Job Summary:

We are seeking a driven Financial Analyst to join our corporate FP&A team. This person will support the VP, FP&A and Finance Leadership with conducting financial analysis, preparing reports, developing financial models, assisting in budgeting & forecasting, and supporting ad-hoc projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Major Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and scenario modeling, to support decision-making processes.
  • Prepare and present financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, to senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to forecast revenue, expenses, and cash flow projections.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and insights for financial analysis and reporting.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes by providing financial insights and recommendations.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancements within the finance department.
  • Monitor key financial metrics and performance indicators, highlighting trends and outliers for management attention.
  • Support ad-hoc financial projects and initiatives as required.

EDUCATION, SKILLS AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, CFA) preferred but not required.
  • 1+ years of experience as Financial Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting techniques.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
