Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to lead financial planning, analysis, and reporting initiatives within our finance department. The Senior Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in providing actionable insights and recommendations to senior management, guiding strategic decision-making processes, and ensuring financial stability and growth.

Major Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and maintenance of comprehensive financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and scenario modeling, to identify key drivers of financial performance and provide insights for decision-making.
  • Prepare and present insightful financial reports and presentations to senior management, highlighting key findings, trends, and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and insights for financial analysis and reporting, fostering a collaborative and data-driven decision-making culture.
  • Drive process improvements and enhancements in financial planning, analysis, and reporting processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to develop detailed budgets and forecasts aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze key financial metrics and performance indicators, providing regular updates and actionable insights to senior management.
  • Mentor and coach junior members of the finance team, providing guidance and support to foster their professional development.

Education, Skills and Work Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, CFA) preferred but not required.
  • 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, planning, and reporting or similar roles.
  • Proven expertise in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate insights effectively.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive process improvements.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
