Talent Management/Human Resources Leader

Chief People Officer (CPO)
Position Overview:
The Talent Management/HR Leader will play a pivotal role in driving the organization’s talent management strategy, focusing on leadership development, succession planning, organizational culture, and employee engagement. While the majority of the role (70%) emphasizes talent management and development, the TM/HR Leader will also act as a strategic HR Business Partner (30%) to corporate function leaders, ensuring alignment of HR initiatives with business goals and providing strategic HR advisory support.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Talent Management and HR leader with a deep passion for talent management and a proven ability to influence and partner with senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Management (70%):
- Develop and execute a comprehensive talent management strategy to build, develop, and retain top talent.
- Lead programs in leadership development, succession planning, performance management, and employee engagement that align with business goals.
- Partner with COE Leaders to establish a culture of continuous learning and development, ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic priorities.
- Design and oversee talent review processes to identify and cultivate high-potential employees.
- Drive culture-building initiatives, promoting a values-driven workplace that supports diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Champion workforce planning efforts, including skills gap analysis and career pathing.
HR Business Partnering (30%):
- Act as a strategic advisor to corporate function leaders, understanding their unique needs and aligning HR strategies to drive business outcomes.
- Provide guidance on organizational design, workforce planning, and leadership development specific to corporate functions.
- Support change management efforts for key business transformations, ensuring alignment with HR and talent strategies.
- Collaborate with leaders to drive engagement, retention, and the development of high-performing teams within corporate functions.
Strategic HR Leadership:
- Partner with the CPO and other senior leaders to align HR strategies with company objectives.
- Leverage HR data and analytics to identify trends, inform talent strategies, and measure the impact of HR programs on business outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Foster continuous improvement within the HR function, optimizing service delivery and processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience with a strong emphasis on talent management.
- Experience working in a matrixed organization or working across multiple business units/operating companies with a geographically distributed workforce.
- Demonstrated success in driving talent development and succession planning initiatives.
- Proven ability to partner with senior leaders in corporate functions such as Finance, IT, and Legal.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using HR data to inform decision-making.
- Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills.
- Expertise in managing multiple priorities and leading organizational change initiatives.
