Position Overview:
The Talent Acquisition (TA) Manager will lead and manage a team of recruiters to fulfill the business needs of the company as well as its customers. S/He collaborates with business leaders to understand business requirements and lead the development and implementation of recruitment strategies and processes to ensure Southern Gas and its business units are able to tap into and attract the best and most diverse pools of talent to support current and future business needs. The TA Manager serves as a brand ambassador for Southern Gas and its business units and reports to the the Senior Director of Human Resources.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for ensuring a seamless recruitment process that fulfills customer and internal hiring needs.
• Partner with the leadership team to forecast business needs and assist in planning for future roles
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to obtain all necessary information regarding their hiring needs.
• Leverage tech resources such as ADP, LinkedIn, Indeed and ZipRecruiter to maintain a good marketing brand presence.
• Manage all job board and recruiting expenses to ensure the department spends within the approved budget
• Partner with hiring managers and interviewers to develop best practices for hiring efforts, keeping an eye on scalability and quality.
• Establishes effective performance indicators and reports to provide leadership team and other key stakeholders.
• Responsible for setting clear goals and benchmarks for the Talent Acquisition team.
• Reinforce team performance goals/metrics and timelines.
• Build, manage, and mentor/develop a team of high-performing recruiters in a fast-paced environment.
• Assist the recruiting team by introducing creative strategies to identifying candidates that address the talent needs of the business.
• Oversee large scale recruitment initiatives, provide professional and executive sourcing for hard to fill roles
• Advise on recruitment tactics and build strategic partnerships with vocational schools and industry partners.
• Develop offers for successful candidates and draft applicable documentation. • Build a pipeline of viable candidates across positions on an on-going basis.
• Lead and deliver continuous productivity improvement of the recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding operations.

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Human Resources, Business or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 6 years in-depth experience and knowledge of full-cycle recruitment in construction industry (preferably gas transmission and distribution) Southeast Connections, LLC
• 4+ years’ leadership and management experience, ideally in natural gas transmission and distribution industry.
• Subject matter expert in recruiting market developments, competitive trends, compensations, etc.; shares knowledge with key stakeholders.
• Proactive communicator possessing strong oral and written communications skills, with the ability to express and exchange ideas, effectively conduct presentations and build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Sense of urgency, aiming for short term successes but without losing sight of the long term business objectives; balancing both short and long term requirements for the company.
• Ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment, where you will manage and participate in the daily activities of the recruiting team to facilitate the recruiting cycle.
• Highly organized, able to prioritize; and exemplify professionalism while working under pressure.
• Strong planning, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Routine travel locally and nationally.
• Profiicient in MS Office Suite, Outlook, social media, and other internet applications.
• Proficient with job postings, job site aggregators, ATS, and job distribution tools.
